Sabrina Oliver
Conduct Emotional Intelligence
Sabrina Carter Oliver, originally from Atlanta, Ga., has lived in Huntsville, AL. for the last twenty years and began her professional career as an employee for Huntsville City Schools. In addition, she has also taught as an adjunct instructor at Alabama A&M University and ITT Technical Institute. She began her college education at Jacksonville State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Criminal Justice, and a master’s degree in secondary education. She then attended University of West Alabama where she received a second master’s degree in Counseling, and lastly she received an Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University.  During this time, she has held positions in various schools in Huntsville City as an English teacher, Literary Coach for the state of Alabama, Curriculum Specialist, and currently a professional counselor at Mae C. Jemison High School.

Jane Knight
Conduct Orientation Class
Jane Knight, PhD., ACC is a leadership & executive coach. She is the author of Engage the Disconnect with Larry Little, Melissa Jackson, David Rupert and Clarity Over Coffee with son, Jake Knight. Also on her resume is speaker – seasoned by years of consulting with multiple organizations throughout the United States and Canada. Jane holds a coaching credential from the International Coach Federation, a Ph.D. from Auburn University and additional credentials from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of Montevallo, and Auburn. Her career, tracking from home economist to educator to consultant to coach, has been an amazing learning lab. Jane currently serves clients in her work with PZI International Consulting, Inc. and Eagle Center for Leadership. In addition, she has distilled her rich learning experiences into three speech and seminar topics: The R Value in Legacy, Age is Inevitable - Old is an Option, and Balance Your Life – Elevate Your Presence

Lori Gregory
Conduct Etiquette Class
Lori is the Controller for Pratt and Whitney Automation. She earned her Bachelors in Accounting with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Alabama and has worked in various Finance organizations from manufacturing accounting to Government accounting. A Huntsville native, Lori married her high school sweetheart and is the mother of two. Lori has a strong sense of community and has proven an effective volunteer in many non-profit organizations including the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild, Women’s Gothic Guild, Junior League, and the Hispanic Children’s Ministry in her church. Among other outreach endeavors, she has conducted numerous etiquette classes for students at varying education levels and business etiquette for young professionals.

Kreslyn Kelley-Ellis
Conduct Time Management Class

 

 

Dr. Kreslyn is a certified coach, training facilitator, speaker, and author, who is known for catalyzing radical self-reflection while helping others unlock their inner-guide to find the direction and results they seek. She is passionate about busting the myth that life is living in a box of unbending structure, sticking to the script, and having everything figured out. Dr. Kreslyn believes that pursuing your dreams is a messy job and that there’s no universal manual that works for everyone, yet we are all deserving and capable of discovering our own purpose and path, pursuing our grandest life-vision, and making an impact on the world. Dr. Kreslyn leads seminars and workshops and speaks to audiences around the country. She has inspired thousands of individuals at conferences, corporations, schools, colleges, community events and churches. Dr. Kreslyn has appeared as an expert on various radio stations and national podcasts, speaking on a range of issues and specifically “Life, Love and Leadership” – a phenomenon she identified to summarize what she deems three of the most important aspects of existence. Dr. Kreslyn grew up in Huntsville, AL, receiving a B.B.A from Faulkner Christian University. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Alabama A&M University and a Doctorate in Education Administration & Supervision from Tennessee State University. Today, she continues to develop herself through additional course work, participating in mastermind groups, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology from Northcentral University. She is a benevolent community servant and serves as Founder of Premier Leadership Foundation, Inc. which exists to equip, inspire, and empower women and youth, as member of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation Board, Alabama A&M University’s Foundation Board, and the Women’s Economic Development Council of Huntsville.

Meet Dr. Kreslyn
Rebekah Teranobu
Instructor
Rebekah Teranobu was raised in Kobe, Japan and gained native fluency in both English and Japanese. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and a Master of Education in Second Language Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Rebekah has taught English writing and Japanese at the University of Cincinnati, and Intensive English classes at the University of Dayton and ELS Language Center; she currently teaches Japanese at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In addition to teaching, Rebekah is a founder of a small business, Spirited Communications, providing Japanese translations and interpreting services to American and Japanese companies, government agencies, and medical settings. When she finds free time, she enjoys traveling, sewing, and running. She resides in Huntsville with her husband and 5-year-old daughter.

Peter Townsend
AUM graphic designer
Peter Townsend is a professional graphic designer, photographer and videographer with 20 years of experience. He has been working with non-profits for the past 10 years to create compelling design to forward the organization’s brand and position in the community. He is partnering with the AUM Foundation to help further their mission by helping to reach donors, mentors and students. In addition, Peter has been teaching Photography, Graphic Design, and Filmmaking at Randolph School for the past 8 years.

Rachel Chapman
Instructor
After a long history with a staffing competitor in Nashville, TN, Rachel decided to bring her knowledge of the staffing industry to Huntsville. In January 2013, Rachel bought the Express Employment franchise, which had opened in 1997. Rachel’s passion about local employers and the economy in Huntsville has helped triple the client size since the purchase. The Express Office was awarded the Service Business of the Year in 2017 at the Huntsville Madison County Chamber Small Business Awards. Express has also received the coveted Circle of Excellence award the past three years from Express Services, the franchising entity of Express Employment. Rachel is a Chamber of Commerce HREGI Investor, is the Co-Chair for the Women’s Business Council, is a Board Member for the Women’s Economic Development Council, and supports both the Kids To Love Center and the Manna House.

Wilma Jarman-Fields
AUM Website Manager
Wilma Jarman-Fields retired in December 2011 after serving 40+ years as a Department of Army civilian. She held various positions throughout her career – from clerk-typist, computer aide, technical writer for PS Magazine, working on the Electronic Publications Team converting manuals from paper to electronic, and team leader of the Technical Manual Specifications and Standards. Wilma’s love of country comes in second to her love of family. She was raised in Winchester, Kentucky as one of eight children. Her federal job transferred her and her three daughters to Huntsville, Alabama in the early 1990s. She graduated from Athens State College with a BA in Management of Technology and a minor in Computer Information Systems. She went on to study at Strayer University graduating with a MBA in Business Management. Knowing how important it is to have someone believe you can reach your goals, she was motivated to become part of the AUM Foundation as a sponsor/volunteer. Wilma demonstrates a strong attitude to helping her community. In addition to sponsoring the P2S Program, she has served on the WEDC Foundation board and volunteers with the Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center by maintaining their website, supporting seniors as a Medicare counselor, and as travel assistant.

Daynise Joseph
Speaker
Daynise Joseph manages Government and Community Affairs for Google Fiber in Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL. Working with nonprofits, government agencies, and community stakeholders to support efforts to make digital literacy, STEM, and minority entrepreneur programs more widely available to underrepresented communities. Before joining Google, she was a nonprofit management consultant and nonprofit Executive Director in Nashville and grassroots community organizer working on various quality of life and social justice issues like affordable housing, living wages, public transportation, and education.
